Unrestricted Skills Check Course For individuals seeking a non-restricted NYS Pistol Permit
Course Fee: $50.00
The Unrestricted Skills Check Course is for the individual that is seeking a non-restricted NYS Pistol Permit, and for those looking to gain "hands on" experience and a more in depth knowledge of Pistol Shooting. Additionally, the individual should be thoroughly familiar with their firearm and have practiced with it on a regular basis. This course involves classroom training and about 50 rounds of live fire. Please bring your own firearm and ammunition and ensure they are secured. The course duration is approximately 5 hours. The cost of this course is $50.

Note: The completed form, copy of pistol permit, and Penal Law must be brought to the class.

North Troy Stag Rod & Gun Club will hold evaluation sessions after all their regular pre license pistol classes. Please go to northtroystag.org to sign up for the post-evaluation class. There are 2 sessions set up for 6 individuals each.
